As CTO of Valer, Marty Staszak is the technical mastermind behind Valer’s ground-breaking, cloud-based solution. His extensive experience in the tech sector was vital in bringing Valer from a vision to a fully viable product and today remains a shaping influence for continuous product improvement.  

Marty has worked with various household tech names like Intel, 3Com and NorTel. Throughout his career, he’s played roles from software architecture and engineering processes to enterprise leadership, providing him with a top-to-bottom understanding of software development. 

He received his BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of California, Davis and his MBA from the University of California, San Diego. 

When not at work, Marty plays competitive Ultimate Frisbee and tennis, and continues to pursue his passions for natural science, history and philosophy by avidly consuming books and podcasts.
